The quirky and flirty Zelos just happens to be the chosen for Tethe'alla, a world in a parallel dimension to Sylvarant. Unlike Sylvarant's though, Tethe'alla flourishes with mana and Zelos holds a great deal of power in the Church of Martel. However, you wouldn't know this by his behavior as he constantly flirts with the ladies and tries to get his way with his clever tricks, which sometimes includes playing dumb.

Much like Kratos, he gets on Lloyd's nerves quite a bit but also considers him a friend. Despite his flirty nature, though, he does have a few tricks up his sleeve. In battle, Zelos is much like Kratos, being able to wield a sword and cast magic.
