Kyle is very much like his father, Stahn Aileron, in his straightforward, simplistic personality. However, he remembers little of who his father was, since his mother, Rutee Katrea, told Kyle he left on a journey. In fact, Stahn was killed by Barbatos Goetia.
Since Rutee runs the Dunamis Orphanage in the town of Cresta, Kyle is friends with most of the orphans, especially Loni Dunamis. Their relationship is much like those of two brothers due to this fact (they had known each other for about 10 years before the events of the game). Kyle believes he will become a great hero, like both of his parents.
In battle, Kyle parallels Stahn's abilities: meaning that he excels in short-range sword fighting and has relatively weak magical prowess.
