It seems that commenting on our Oekaki images was disabled accidentally during the reskinning that took place a few months ago.
We are aware of this issue, and are looking into a fix (likely, the code for it got removed while the core files were edited). Hopefully, we should have this resolved in a few days. : )

The Oekaki should be properly reskinned now. There will be some small tweaks in the future, but it should be properly usable now.
If you come across a page that has yet to be skinned (it will have the text in front of the "stripped" background), please contact us.
(BTW, we are currently working on trying to fix the mySymphonic issues. It seems that the script is saying a username/e-mail exists, when there is no record of said name in the database. It creates the user like normal, but the usergroup fails to set itself, making it so you cannot see the mySymphonic links in the header. We have pinned down the issue to a couple lines of code, so hopefully it should be resolved in a week or so.)

When I was coding the new skin for the Oekaki, I didn't notice a huge coding issue that accidentally "cut" off part of the menu for any user who was not a Staff member, which incidentally contained the links to draw and logout of your account.
This issue should now be fixed (I created a fake account with a general Member level to test it), but please contact us if you find another issue of this sort.
Kudos to Kao Kao and WaterWings for bringing this issue to my attention.

The Oekaki's skin is now revamped to match the new layout on the main website. I think I got everything, but please feel free to contact kaos knight/Kao Kao or myself if you encounter any issues.
The Topsite will likely be next, then it's a toss up to whether I'll do the Forum or the Gallery after that. Basically, whichever one you see "messed up" for a few hours will be the one I chose. xd

kaos knight (also known as Kao Kao on the Oekaki) will be acting as the primary Administrator at our Oekaki from now on. This is part of the new "direction" Symphonic Heaven is aiming for --- we want to have our community members help run sections of the site, so it's a "team" effort, instead of one person running everything. In the long run, this should increase productivity at the forum, so this is a very cool development.
We are planning to open up a Staff Application form via the forum in the next few weeks, but if you have an interest in helping run the Gallery or the Topsite, feel free to contact us before the Staff Application script is launched (a PM to me would likely be the best bet). We also will be having positions opening for News Editors, in case that catches your fancy.

The Oekaki was recently upgraded to v1.2.7. This had a few bug fixes for the drawing applets (mainly some PHP5 fixes), and a small fix for applying the default translation for the script.
EDIT: The activation issue with the Oekaki *should* be fixed now.

It took a little longer than I anticipated (partially due to the amount of hacking that was needed), but the Oekaki's layout now matches the main website (sans the dotted-underline link effect, which will be added tomorrow morning). The Topsite, Gallery, and Forum, at this time, will not be getting such a "makeover", due to the depth of recoding that would need to take place (i.e., they would take at least 2x-3x longer to complete).
The next few days will be spent on the new mySymphonic backend, along with some minor fixes to the site's coding (mainly XHTML validity fixes).

The Oekaki is now upgraded to v1.3.6. This is mainly composed of bug fixes and some new Admin-related tools. The v4 skin has also been "redone" to match the new look on the main site.
As an FYI, I am currently in the process of converting v3's layout (Tales of Legendia) for use on the main site.
After that, the Topsite will be redone, then the Forum, and finally the Gallery (which will have a HUGE reorganization of content). Then, you can start to see some more site content be done.

The Oekaki now has the "scanlines" from the main site, as well as some tweaks to some of the fields not properly done in the previous instance of the layout. Some other minor CSS tweaks were done as well, such as some of the image borders.
I am planning on finishing off the Topsite in the next few hours, since that will not take much time at all to properly style.
