On the continent of Areura, legends say a race of beasts named the Lycanths used to live there. Due to their technological advancements, they invented a technology that killed off the majority of their civilization, causing the "Beast War". Due to this, they handed over the rule of the continent to the humans. As the humans population grew, the Lycanth population died off slowly in the opposite direction.

Because of this, the humans resented the Lycanths. They started the "Lycanth Hunt" in an effort to rid the world of all the remaining Lycanths. In a ordinary village, Caius Qualls finds an inquired knight that tells reveals to him that he is not a ordinary human, but one of the Lycanth. He sets out on a journey with his friend Rubia Natwick to find his real parents, as well as discover the origins of their world.
