Minisite Update Brings More Videos

The official minisite has been updated with three character videos (Suzu, Keele, & Chloe). A new section for the classes in the game was also added (which deals with that class that has the "skull" headpiece).

The videos have been added to our YouTube channel. The images have been ripped as well, and will be in the Gallery when the site relaunches soon.

Tales of Festival DVD To Be Released

The Tales of Festival website has been updated with news that a 2-disc DVD of the event will be released on January 23rd, 2009 for 6,090 Yen (around $60).

This DVD will not include the mini-concert the Japanese musical group DEEN (who did Destiny and Hearts's cover songs) performed, or the advanced screening of the Tales of the Abyss anime, however.

Hearts Delayed In Japan

Tales Channel has updated their site to announce that Tales of Hearts will now be released on December 18th, instead of the previous release date of December 11th.

No reason was given for the delay.

Hearts-Themed Mabo Curry, Anyone?

IGN put up a special article today concerning a real-life version of the cooking staple, Mabo Curry, that is in the various Tales of games.

Namco-Bandai got the convenience store chain Circle K Sunkus to create a real-life version of the Mabo Curry recipe, crafted to be a near-replica of how it appears in the game. They will start selling it on December 9th, two days before the game's release in Japan. It will continue to be sold for two more weeks. One bowl will cost 500 Yen.

You will also receive a special Hearts-themed photo frame that comes with an SD card filled with a Hearts-specific slideshow of images.

4th Tales of Ranking Contest: Voting Begins

Over the last few years, Namco-Bandai has done character ranking contests. This year, they are doing the fourth version of this contest. For voting, you will receive a special exclusive wallpaper. Or you can check out this new section on our Gallery instead. :P

Voting started today (November 17th), and it runs until December 12th, 2008. The results will be revealed at Jump Festa 2009 (December 20th & 21st). Tales Channel will update the contest page sometime after that.

If you want to vote, you need to pick one character from each of the categories. The last field (with the textbox) is for writing in a character who was not included. The left button at the end is for submitting your entry; the one to the right resets your entry.

Official Minisite Update for Tales of Hearts

The official minisite for Tales of Hearts has been updated with quite a few new sections.

Richea's profile has been added, some new screenshots were added to the System section, and finally Calcedny & Richea's wallpapers were added. All of these images have been added to our Gallery.

Accessory Kit Revealed for Tales of Hearts

Famitsu just revealed a special Hearts-themed Accessory Pack, which seems to include a hard case for the Nintendo DS (featuring some custom Kohak-centered sketch artwork), a extra-long teal-colored stylus with the game's logo on it, and a chain that seems to latch onto the case, with Shing and Kohak at the end of it (it's kinda like a keychain).

Game Watch also has a general preview of the games that were featured at Jump Festa 2008. If you look closely, you can see Shing's Mystic Arte (unnamed in the screenshot), as well as what seems to be Yuri from Tales of Vesperia.

Japanese Boxart Leaked?

An image which seems to be the official boxart for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 has been leaked onto the web.

It is not confirmed as of yet, since we will have to wait till either an gaming website like Famitsu, or the official website, officially reveals it. ;)

Another Three Character Videos Added

The official minisite has been updated with three character videos (Anise, Kyle, & Ruca). There are also two new System videos, but for some reason the videos aren't streaming off the server correctly (might be the influx of visitors due to the update), so check back in a day or so, when we should be able to get a hold of the two videos.

All of the new images were added to our RM2 Gallery, and there were also some Developer's Blog images added to our Hearts Gallery. As always, the videos are embedded in the Full Story link below.

Rest of Partial Scan + Official Name for the Green-Haired Girl

The full version of that scan we posted earlier has been revealed. The green-haired woman's official name is Richea Spodune. From the scan, it appears Shing and Hisui find her washed up on some beach.

This is from the Chinese Famitsu, so it might take a while to get proper translations, compared to a Japanese scan.
