Fulien K. Lester, a descendant of the infamous summoner Klarth F. Lester, was searching inside an ancient ruin, when he happened to stumble across a secret room. He accidentally awakened a fairy-like creature called Macaron, which sees Fulien as her master.

He senses a evil presence, and gets attacked by goblins. After defeating the monsters, he is thanked by the townspeople in the nearby village. However, monsters are attacking other towns around the world, such as the Capital of Alvanista. Fulein sets forth to go to the city to get rid of the monsters. Once he gets to the capital, he realizes he does not have the strength to fight all of them, and calls forth the "Heroes of Time"...
