My initial thoughts

This abstract game on first impression seems to kick massive amounts of a**.

I bought a PSP today just for this game, and so far I'm just loving both the system and the game. The voices are different but character personalities for the characters I've seen so far (mainly Kratos and Luke) are bang on.

This is definitely a game that shoudn't be passed up if you're a fan of the narikiri dungeon games.

lolz this is what I'm going to do as well. Though I'm not going to get PSP just for this Tales game...but I will for all of the Tales games that come out for it. ^^

How is the gameplay? I've never played a Narikiri Dungeon game before so I have no clue what to expect. ^^;;;;

And how many characters have you seen so far?

Well, I'm going to buy a PSP soon so I can play this. If others come out in NA, then that's a fringe benefit.

Anyway, DBAM just motivated me to do more than think about buying a PSP and this game; I'm going to actually buy it now.

By the way, do you need a memory card to save data on a PSP? And do you really need the battery charger that's sold separately? Thanks.

Luke: Our weapons are status.
Jade: Scheming.
Anise: Playing dirty.
Guy: That's awful.

Best end battle quote ever.

Yeah, you need a memory card. If you're getting the "deluxe" pack, it'll come with a 32 MB card, which is fine for just game saves. I'd suggest looking at places like Circuit City --- I found a 2 Gig SanDisk MS Stick for $40 (was normally $80). The list in terms of memory sticks to get is...

SanDisk > Sony >>> Lexar.

SanDisk is faster than Sony's for transferring files on/off the memory stick (various people on GameFAQ's over the years have noted that). Lexar has crap quality stuff, so don't get one of them unless you absolutely have to.

And the battery charger is included by default, even in the "Core" package, which is what I got (PSP+Manual+Charger).

Doesn't it have to be Sandisk > Sony >>> Lexar then? o_o

And if you buy a PSP and you don't get a charger that would really be lame.
