One of the greatest games of all time as far as I'm concerned...but why does it not get the recognition that it deserves?
Of course I'm not going to say that it was the best-bar none...but it was up there.
But anyways, for those that have played it...what did you think of it?
And for those who haven't...WHY NOT!?
One of the best SNES RPGs along with Lufia II and others I can't think of at the moment. Lets hope Chrono Trigger will be available for Wii Virtual Console one day, that would be friggin' sweet.
Chrono Cross is made of epic win aswell.
One of my favorite games, as well.
The only thing is that with $uare Enix's stance on not wanting to bring over any of the Final Fantasy games for the Wii's Virtual Console, I dunno how much of a chance it'll have.
Plus, there might be issues with getting Toriyama (sp?) to allow it or something, since he did the artwork (at least the characters), IIRC.
Yeah, I thought something like that would happen, but all we can do is hope, right? XD

That would be awesome if it was brought to the Wii VC, or even done a decent remake of it.
Speaking of remakes, I once found a site claiming to be doing a full 3D remake, but apparently they got a "Notice to Stop" from Square Enix...It still hasn't been confermed if this was just a hoax or not...
But, in terms of time travel in the game, I can't think of another game that put so much thought into it...I mean you do something in the past and it effects the future perfectly.
That wasn't a hoax, they would have been sued would they still keep on working on that project.
Which sucks though. I mean f***, what profits does SE get nowadays of CT? Yeah, none. So it's really bitchy they won't let you create some CT game cause they are like 'lulzcopyright'.
and the time travel was even better in Chrono Cross.
In hoax I mean, many people were thinking that it was all made up to begin with.
Some people get together and start to make a game, maybe for a university project, but can't get it to work, so they fabricate a letter from SE saying to stop, and the world is back where it was before.
Though to me, it seems a little to planned out to be a hoax in that respect.
And sadly, I have yet to play Chrono Cross, though I've heard that it is horrible (most likely UN-true)

That game is so awesome on many levels.
Is that so? From what I've seen in videos, it looks good, but most of the time videos don't do it justice.
I really must get a PS2...:(

Edit: I now have Chrono Cross! It would be so incredibly awsome if my memory card actually worked though...:( (Yes it's a PS card not PS2)
