Some of you might have heard about this little incident. Essentially, litebrites powered by small batteries were placed around Boston. Someone calls it in because they "looked suspicious", and the city gets shut down because of a "bomb scare" (with the bomb squad and everything). As for who placed them there, it's in any of those news stories (a good majority, anyway), so I won't repeat it here.
Two things come to mind here...
I'd be interested in hearing your views on this.

- These things were in other major cities, and even in Boston for a few weeks before this incident. And yet no one had a problem with this elsewhere. >.>
- IMO, it doesn't take rocket science to tell that a f***ing lightbrite powered by small batteries isn't a freaking bomb.. God damn, what is our world coming to? Are we going to have someone call in a bomb scare because they see snow (general example) that wasn't there before, because Osama might be hiding in it? >.>
