Alexia (2002 - 2006) My first website was Golden Age, a Golden Sun fan site on AOL Hometown. It was a crappy little site, but it was different in the fact that it was more *professional* than most of the other free host-type sites, since it tried to mimic a normal fan site in presentation, even with the limits of AOL Hometown.
I eventually got hosted on Chris's Lufia World website, adding coverage of the Lufia series to allow for hosting on that site. With the new host came a new, more professional layout. A year or so later, Eternal Heaven was born. This became Final Fantasy / Lufia based, and eventually was hosted by Layarine's site, at the time known as Anime Gaming(.net). This move dropped the Lufia coverage and focused on the Final Fantasy content. There were some server problems along the way, but at the time, Gamespy was going through its own problems, so I wasn't complaining. XD However, near the end of Spring 2005, I decided that I didn't have the *drive* to cover Final Fantasy (since it was tiny compared to any big FF site out there), so I decided to scrap everything and create a "Tales of" website, since there were hardly any Tales site out there, plus most of them that were still up were dead and not updated in a long time. This was hosted at Gamespy, and after a half-a-year, it finally started to become viewed by more and more people each month. This was also when all-new content, like the Gallery and the videos. In the first half of 2006, even more features, such as the Topsite, Oekaki, and the Wiki (a rebirth of the old project) was added. Due to personal reasons, I had to step down from my position of heading the site, and pass it on to one of my good friends, Soshite. Soshite (2006 - Current Date) In the beginning of August, I was given control of Symphonic Heaven. It is a little different running a big site like this, but I feel as if I am learning how everything works so far, and the people here are really nice. I am trying to keep things similar to how Lexi would run the site, while also trying to expand the site in places it needs to be. Hopefully time will show whether this change was for better or worse. |
